What is an ADOS?
The Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) is an instrument for diagnosing and assessing Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
The assessment consists of a series of structured and semi-structured tasks that involve social interaction between the assessor and the individual. The assessor observes and identifies key aspects of the individual’s behaviour and assigns these to predetermined observational categories, which are subsequently combined to produce quantitative scores for analysis.
The Listen And Learn Centre provides ADOS assessments.
